Potential Increase in Phishing and Non-Delivery of Emails
The systems team has been made aware of an issue where malicious actors are sending phishing emails from test Microsoft domains using the BCC field. This means that other email providers may perceive any bulk emails sent from a Microsoft service as Spam or Phishing until the issue is resolved. If you receive any Phishing emails from an email address which includes "onmicrosoft.com" please report it as phishing. If you need to send out a large email please refrain from using the BCC field at this time.
We will continue to work with Microsoft on this issue and provide updates as they become available.
