NU VPN Downtime

RFC 209968: The NU VPN will be unavailable on the morning of Saturday, May 16th, 2026 beginning at 7:00AM. Work is scheduled to be complete before 10:00AM. ITS will be making changes to the VPN tunnel during this time to accommodate future work which will improve resiliency. Direct impact: users will not be able to use the NU VPN to access secure resources. Workarounds for users who need to access secure resources which normally require a VPN connection during the outage include Azure Virtual Desktops (AVD) for those who have one provisioned or working on campus using the unified edge network (wired or wireless).
